I Want to act...

Ok so i know that i am not the only one who has had a dream to be an actor/actress for a long time and hasn't been able to get to it. It is really hard. And one thing iv'e noticed is that "it takes money to make money", I was found by a talent scout program called Proscout and it all started when i heard about it on the radio. I heard that a talent scout agency was going to be in town. Happy i jumped on the opportunity, knowing it wouldn't cost me anything. I got there and got interviewed. After a long wait of all the interviews i was chosen. I was so excited, but then the bad news...After I was chosen they told me and the others chosen that there was going to be an event where modeling and acting agents would come to see us. I went to the event, but i spent over $1,000 for this 1 event and i didn't even get any call backs. Now i have the choice to go to another event, but even though it will be cheaper this time, i still have to pay and will most likely be paying over $500 just to maybe get a call back. Thats too much money to be risking when i could of spent that thousand on a whole bunch of other stuff that i could of got GUARANTEE. So as said before it takes money to make money. Even though i want to act so bad, how can a poor regular day person get to him/her desired dream. Then people say "Do the work at home jobs".....Well most work at home jobs require money to even get started...money you don't have . So how in the world are you supposed to get to a dream that you are so motivated about when you are so broke??? Any answers.....???
